On the gate of the Karvazy house could be seen the year 1571. In the early 1900's the building was demolished and the bishop's family built a secessionist building. The top of the gate was taken to the museum. In one of the upper floors there is now a very nice door frame.

Another curiosity of the dwelling is a ceramic stove, which is right next to this frame.
