Miko garden, on whose goal now seems sheet Faculty of Biology and Geography was his possession Miko Imre Gróf of Hidvégi. He gave this park with its buildings of the Transylvanian Museum Society, whose founder was. The statue of the garden was raised in his memory. Here is also the summer residence decorated with columns built in 1840 by Groth Bethlen Lajos. The garden building was owned by the governor Teleki József, who sold it to Mikó Imre. The museum association turned the park into a botanical garden and the building housed the Zoological Institute. Across the street was built in 1882 after plans of Kollenheyer Ferenc Institute of Chemistry. The botanical garden was destroyed in the 1960s, in its place were the student dorms. Behind the summer residence in 1907-1908 was built a building in which the museum of zoology was located.
