This classicist palace was built by Teleki Sándor's parents, Telki János and Mikes Erzsébet. On the front of this palace with a floor balcony seen double crest of noble family Teleki and Mikes. Among the main guests of the house we can mention Táncsics Mihály, Jókai Mór, and between 10th and 15th March 1879 the friend of Teleki Sándor, the composer Liszt Ferenc, who on this balcony listened to the serenade of Cluj, offered by a choir of 120 people.

The Teleki family sold the house in the early 1920s. In the following years, the ground floor was turned into shops.
