Ilișua, Reformed church

The first church of Ilișua locality was built in XV century in gothic style. Once with the propagation of reformed religion both the Christians and the church passed to the new religion. The first reparations were made in 1680. In 1700 the archive burnt.

The church's tower was built in 1870 - 1872 but initially the bells were not placed here but in the belfry. During the restoration works in 1871 - 1872 under the church were found tombs. In 1927 the vestry was knocked down, the ceiling became horizontal and the shingle roof was changed with an iron one. The organ was built in 1904 by Kerékgyártó István.
