Richiș, Evangelical fortified church

The constructions were finished in 1451 of the church of Richis, which was built in the 15th century. The main policy of forest was created in the 16th century. The entrance is to be found in the western side under the tower of entrance. Unfortunately the main part of its fortification is no more visible. After the entrance the wall is depicted by a painting which shows the crucifixion of Jesus-Christ.

In the inside of the church we can find some other stones which are forming some small statues too. There are certain humorous figures and symbols at the arcades or at the pillars. On the baroque altar we can see the fructification again.

The main chair has a baldachin with a picture of a pastor with a sheep in his hands. The organ is in the upper parts, upstairs and in 1788 was made by Daniel Prause.
