Curciu, Evangelical fortified church

The Gothic Church of Curciu was built in the first half of the 14th century. It's a three-ship hall type church.

The height of the side ships is the same as that of the main ship that separates them through some Gothic arches. Their ceiling, at the beginning of the vault, is now right. The nerves reach the beautifully carved closure points. The two windows of the sacristy are adorned with a gothic stone grid.

Among the western gate decorations can be identified monkeys, human mask, grape bunches, pork head, hay, biblical scenes. The stone sculptures were made in the period 1425-1530. The southern gate was made later, but it is also beautifully ornate. The massive tower is embedded in the main ship. The original oval wall did not resist in time, but on the eastern side at the vaulted entrance, the gate tower is seen.
