Pigeons is just 4 km from the Romanian-Hungarian-Ukrainian common border. The village is documented in 1274 as a family owned Kata. The population was decimated in many battles: the Polish invasion in 1657, and Lobonts Kuruc war between 1700 and 1717 Tatar invasion, was filled with families of Ruthenian and Slovak. Visitors can choose from several tourist attractions.
