The house from the south of the walled city, located on the Evlia Celebi (Păltiniș), No.2 Street, is in Elisabetin, is a monument supposedly built around the 16th-17th century. The house has three levels, ground floor, first floor and the cellar roofed with a flattened cylindrical arch. The floor has been reconstructed but through the sounding of the grassroots it has been proved that the infrastructure and the foundation were executed simultaneously. In 1759-1763 the Turkish house belonged to the Mizocordian monks and in the plan of 1853 the house has a well delimited periphery.

Its ambiguous history gave birth to several legends. It is said that it was the summer residence of the governor, and even a harem. Supposedly there was a secret tunnel between the house and stronghold. All of these were refuted, but the investigations didn't debunk the legends.
