Hotel Coroana has an interesting history. It is known that from 1763 until 1780 the Hungarian Crown Hotel-Restaurant was owned by Peter Eirich, but the building is older, built around 1730.

In style, it was framed in hybrid eclecticism, with overloaded interiors specific to the Ludovic-Filip style, imitating the burghaus of Innsbruck. It is an upstairs building and has a vaulted passage over Str. Aurului. Over the years, it has been owned by several families, for the last time belonged to the Mariane Duval family, which it recovered after 1990, making it available to the Oravița City Hall and the Greek Catholic Parish to transform it into the Social Center. Today on the ground floor there are commercial units and upstairs a care center for elderly people next to the Greek-Catholic Parish.
