Bădăcin, Old church

The old church from Bădăcin was built in 1705 by the Greco-catholic Christians. It is among the oldest churches from Sălaj County. The nave is build of stone and the tower of wood in baroque style. There are unknown data about the construction of the church but the failed negociations between Greco-catholics and Orthodox regarding the future of the church.

In 1948-2004 it was used by the Orthodox. The Greco-catholics requested it back, but they didn't receive it back. Both the Orthodox and the Greco-catholics have a new church. The little church is runing wild.

The walls are cracking, the plaster is falling only the Holy Trinity watches in the sanctuary. When will the situation of this monument improve?
