The Ordâncușa gorge is the gorge of the similarly called valley. Its length is 2.5 km. The streamlet is the side-water of Gârdei Seacă valley on the left part. The Ordâncușa gorge has high limestone walls, between which there is a road crossing on 4 bridges. In the limestones we can find different caves hidden. More than 70 caves, gates and smaller halls awaits the explorers.

After the main gate of the canyon, there is the Cordobana lui Gârțău arcade on the right, which gives shelter to everyone in rainy weather. Less than 200m we find the Poarta lui Ionele cave.

This is a preserved cave as different species of bats can be found inside. In the right wall we can find the Zgurăști cave, which is also conserved. The Ordâncușa valley takes us closer to the ice-cave Scărișoara.
