Peleaga peak is the highest in the Retezat Mountains. Of the 14 peaks over 2,500 m in Romania, Peleaga Peak is 7th with 2509 m high. It is the peak escalated by everyone who climbed Retezat's peaks, from the children to the elderly.

It goes alone or in group, newer and with mountebike. It's mostly summer, but it's also winter. One thing is certain, whoever is lucky to catch the beautiful weather will have a great view of the Retezat Mountains. Routes that climb up the Peleaga peak:
