The end of the XIX century was characterized by the consolidation of the economical and commercial activities of the city. In this context it was built in 1890 the Palace of Public Finances (Republicii str. no.35) by the architect Rimanoczy Kalman Jr. In present it is the seat of the adults' polyclinic no. 2.
