Grey Friars ChurchRoad: DN 13a The Grey Friars firstly had found home in the fortress attacked by the (szekely) then since 1705 they have established in the town. Between 1721-1779 it was built the oldest church and cloister of the main-square. The two-towered, 36 m long, 17 m large and 14 m headway baroque church(peopelish called Friars church) has seven altars, a 200 years organ and in its eastern tower it has two bells. In the cloister there had functioned for 143 years (1784-1927). After the II. W.W. it had been used as a magazine then there was established a college. The pursuit of the order was banned in 1951 and they could not recover more. From 1990 on the cloister was assigned for 25 years to the Franciscian nuns. Today is a Roman-Chatolic church.
