Roman-Chatolic Church

On the Saint Nicholas mount the chatolics had allready have church in the 14. century what was ruined during 1661's Turkish drive. The parish-church was built in place of the Saint Nicholas church between 1787-1793. The new church was planed to be two-towered but there was built only one of them. It's 38 m long, 18 m large and it has three bodys. The baroque high altar and the quieter side altars are works of the clujan sculptor Hoffmayer Simon (1740-1800). The altar is decorated by four life-size Jesuit saint's baroque wooden sculpture. The classicistic desk is decorated by embossings. Its organ was built in 1879 and its great bell was mould in 1790. The five marble altar is from the XX. century. They were made between 1906-1912.
