Vidraru lake and dam

The blue streak trails start at the end of lake Vidraru, at the place where Capra river flows into the lake. We follow the transfagaras road. At km 120.1 we reach Piscul Negru forester’s lodge

We reach lake Capra at 1500m altitude. Soon the road enters into a tunnel, while we follow a winding road to Cascada Iezerului. 2 hours away from Capra tourist lodge we are at 2200m asltitude. One more ascent to lake Capra at 2230m altitude and a path leads us to Capra saddle {Şaua Caprei, 2315m.)
