Our starting point is Porumbacu de Sus. We follow the forest road on the bank of the Raul Mare River. At km 15 we go past the marble mine, and if we keep climbing we reach the place where the two sources of water of Raul Mare River meet. We cross the bridge over Serbota and at the end of the forest road we continue on a path. At a height of about 1410m we turn right on the path leading to Serbota waterfall and soon reach a clearing where Negoiu tourist lodge can be found
