The red triangle trails start at Podul Giurgiului sheep-folds and travels on the right bank of Orzănelei brook. Close to the flow in of Izvorul Moldoveanului brook there are many waterfalls on the two brooks. After the two brooks join there is a persistent ascent by a yellowish wall. This way we go around one of Orzănelei Mari’s waterfalls.After 1 ½ hours away from our starting point we reach an area intersected by many brooklets. We go past a herdsman’s hut from where we can already see Orzănelei saddle. We climb to it, to 2305m, by a brooklet.
