The yellow triangle trail starts at Podul Giurgiului sheep-folds, it crosses the water and climbs upwards on its bank. We cross Izvorul Moldoveanului, go past a sheep-fold and climb to the alpine meadows on a winding road. We go along the brook, which has just come rushing down on a brick-red rock face. At the end of another winding road we reach our destination: Curmătura Galbenei, 2340m
