The red cross trail starts at Avrig and travels towards the mountains. After 10kms of walking we reach Podul Jibrii. We turn right on a forest road where the red triangle shows our way for another 8 kms. We reach Poiana Florilor 960m and following a path we find ourselves at a 1130m height in 30 minutes. Here we meet another red cross trail which actually starts at Sebesul de Sus. We turn left and we soon reach Cabana Suru
