The blue triangle trails start at the centre of the settlement. We soon go across some grazing areas then enter the woods, go around Magura peak and reach a clearing, where we also meet the blue dot trails
We go into the woods, cross some beautiful clearings but in order to reach the main ridge we have to ascend on winding roads until we reach Apa Cumpănită ridge(1807m) where the signs marking the main ridge are already present
We leave the ridge behind and head east. We go past Moaşei peak (2034m) and a pasture, then we cross an area covered by rhododendron and reach a saddle, where we meet the red triangle trails. These trails accompany us onour descent on the winding roads.We cross a brook and reach the clearing where Suru tourist lodge can be found.
