We leave the tourist lodge and cross the bridge over Capra brook. We turn right on the transfagarasan highway and follow it for 1.5 km to a bridge.then we turn to a path along Fundul Caprei brook. After half an hour we cross the brook and start climbing first on a grassy slope, then along an arid, rocky bed. After a rugged ascendt we reach Fundul Caprei cauldron where a tourist lodge is located.We proceed north-east and reach the main ridge at Fereastra Zmeilor. A trail starts here
