Following the red triangle trails we descend to Sambetei brook from where the blue triangle trails ascend to the Piatra Caprei brook stream. The trails lead us on the right bank. We soon leave the water behind and start climbing on a woody ascent. A rugged winding road leads us to the top of Piatra Caprei. The view is worth all the effort. A breathtaking panorama of the surrounding mountains spreads out in front of us. From this spot the trails start descending until they reach the red dot at the Cross. There you can choose your own course to follow.
