The blue dot trail starts behind Cabana Bărcaciu. We start climbing, we cross two brooks and 10-15 minutes later we descend close to the water.We go to the other side and start climbing along Râului Mare river towards the glacial threshold. On our right side we can see many waterfalls. The next ascent leads us to the second glacial threshold. Once we reach the top the trail travels between huge rocks. After 40 minutes of ascending a rock face blocks our way. We go around it, we cross two brooklests and there we stand in front of a beutifull waterfall. This has been a 3 hours long journey. We ascend to the upper glacial level, and after half an hour we reach lake Avrig (2011m.)
