The blue streak trails start at the elevator station. We ascend up to Piatra Dracului where we turn right. Soon we reach a pass, we go through the watershed and reach the pyramid-shaped peak Buteanu (1880m.) We climb to the top, go around five peaks and climb peak Netedu (2351m.) The view is magnificent. A descending road leads us to Netedu pass and then to Valea Văiugii

To Văiugii saddle and Buteanu

We go past a few masses of stone and reach Balea valley, where the lake is situated.
