Collecting exhibits Deta Museum was started in the early twentieth century. A great merit in preserving the collection lies with Professor Dani Bela, who was concerned about the enrichment and preservation of the collection between 1970 and 2000. The history of the area is illustrated with discoveries from the Neolithic Age, the transition period to the Bronze Age, and the funerary urns of the first Iron Age.

The tomb from Banloc (sec. V), ceramics (18th-18th centuries), the fortification of tombs and graves from the sec. XIII-XIV from Opatița. Multicultural and Multiconfesional History of the Deta in the XVIII-XX Century is illustrated by the old book, local gazette and other exposed objects belonging to cultural and mutual aid associations. The building of the museum was the firefighters' tower, built in 1910, and there is also the fire brigade museum
