Terbete folk ensemble - Zalău

The Columna Folk Ensemble for Children and Young People was set up in the autumn of 1995 within the Municipal Community Arts Centre of Zalau. The ensemble is made up of 4 generations and consists of 170 children and young people with ages ranging anywhere between 6 and 20 years. The Columna Folk Ensemble represented Romania, at great International Folk Festivals in Holland, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Spain, Hungary and Austria. In 2001 it won the Golden Necklace, at the International Folk Festival Djon, France.
