Gârda de Sus
Gârda de Sus lies at the intersection of Ordâncuşa and Gârda Seacă creeks. It is a mountain settlement, the ideal place for spelunkers, alpinists and mountaineers. A sign at the entrence calls our attention to the fact that this is a European village, where the hospitable people make you feel at home. The settlement abouds in pensions, and the surroundigs abound in sights. The Poarta lui Ionel cave is at a distance of only 3 kilometres. Tracks lead to Scarisoara-, Vertop-, Nagykojba caves, Groapa Ruginoasa, Ordâncuşa narrows, Casa de Piatră and Padiş. In Gârda de Sus there is also a more than 200 years old wooden church.
