As a result of reforming current the Christians from Guruslău passed to this religion. Their first church was built from wood, and the present one was made in 1829 and 1835, it has stone walls of 6 m. The nave was covered with shingle in 1889, and in 1935 with iron. In the belfry's place in 1929 a tower was built. The bell of 170 kg was re-bought in 1917, and the 70 kg one cracked in 1921. The present bells of 120 and 80 kg were made in 1922-1923 in Schieb and Kauncz workshops. During the Second World War the soviet troops took all the cult objects and destroyed almost entirely the archive.

For strengthening the cracked walls during earthquake in 1959 the buttresses were built, visible even today. With the occasion of renovations in 1993-95 the church's interior suffered major changes: the ceiling cassettes and the chorus were adapted to the present requests and at the entrance a vestibule was built. The parish's building was made in 1856.
