The Art-Gallery
The Bánffy family was the only aristocrat family of Transylvania for the XVIII century. Their Clujan castle the actual Art-Gallery was built by architect Johann Eberhardt Blaumann from Sibiu. The building is two-storied and its facade is beautifully decorated.
From 1951 on it has been giving place to the Art-Gallery what has a mighty reach painting, graphics and decorative artistic object collection. So in 1997 it was nominated for the EMYA award of the European museums.
