The Orthodox Cathedral

Avram Iancu square

The cathedral was built between 1921 and 1933, in Romanian and Byzantine style. The building is richly decorated.

The reach of fancy embossments represents geometric patterns and flowerings. The chapel follows the Aya Sofia frame work.

The square in front of the cathedral was arranged in 1993 then got there the statue of Avram Iancu as well. The church may pride with a mighty reach antique, manuscript, book and Orthodox Church and Romanian history connected document collection.
