Instead of the current two-tower reformed church there was a wooden church that was replaced in 1695 by a church of stone and wood, which around 1820 became too small. Thus, in 1829, the foundation stone of the present church was laid.

The classical church was sanctified in 1851, but the works continued until 1879. The church's surface is 1750 square meters.

The two ships with a length of 50 m each meet at right angles, instead of the high dome seen 20 m.

The inner and outer pillars end in the corinthian capite. The towers of a height of 40 m were finished in 1842 and 1845 respectively. The church was completely finished in 1879.
