The Church of the Piarists
The church was built by the Jesuits from donations between 1718-1724 in baroque style. It is surrounded by the university buildings.
In contrast with its puritan facade the church is fairly decorated, impressive. Above the gold and silver glittering altar there is the picture of "Crying Marry of Mikola". After the break-up of the Jesuit order the church got into the property of the Piarists in 1776.
