On Zola street no. 4 once operated the House of Mint which was moved from Sibiu to Cluj in 1527 by Szapolyai János. The building resting on the walls of the fortress was erected in 1608. When the street was enlarged, it was demolished, and on the one built it was placed a commemorative plaque bearing the inscription: Domus cementariaet auricusoria, ie exchange workshop and aurar 1608.
